该剧是根据品川自己的青春小说改编的洋基动作剧。信浓川弘因欣赏洋基漫画而决定成为一名不良少年，他从私立学校转学到公立狛江北中学。在新学校的第一天，他遭到了犯罪团伙头目井口达也的殴打，并最终被侦探荒牧逮捕。信浓川浩被达也、鲁邦（安城丰 饰）、森木隆、王爷（山崎英树 饰）等人认作好友，与不良少年们斗智斗勇。
